  <p>Information: Betty Jo Shamblin Lykens, 61, died Oct. 14, 1987 in Humana Hospital, Greenbrier Valley, Fairlea, after a long illness.  Mrs. Lykens was born in Jackson County.  She attended Pleasant View Advent Church, Jackson County.  Mrs. Lykens is survived by: father, Denver M. Shamblin of Charleston; sisters, Juanita Ward and Anna Lee Skeen, both of Charleston, Jacquie Goff and Juda Summers, both of Cross Lanes.  A joint funeral service for Mrs. Lykens and her husband, Carl W. was held Oct. 16 at Shanklin Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs with the Rev. Ben Gurley officiating.  Entombment was in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg.</p>
