Information: Funeral services for Wade Bennett, 68, well known Mason county farmer, were conducted Monday afternoon from the Wolfe Valley Church with the Rev. W. M.? officiating. Burial was made in the family cemetery by the Raynes mortuary of Buffalo. Mr. Bennett came to Point Pleasant, Saturday with Clyde Keefer and brought some stock to the local market. While attending the stock sale, he suffered a severe stroke and was removed to the office of Dr. R. W. Eshenaur. After undergoing an examination he was removed to his home at Wolfe Valley in Raynes' ambulance, where he died an hour later. He was a native of Meigs county and was born on March 9, 1871 and was the son of the late Benjamin and Josephine Bennett. He was married on June 14, 1900, to Sarah M. Smith, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Louise Kimberling of Arbuckle and Mrs. Hazel Sayre of Elmwood; three sons, L. J. Bennett of Nat, George Bennett and Scott Bennett of Capehart; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Jeho and Mrs. Lillie Thompson of Andori, Ohio, and one brother, D. V. Bennett of Liberty, W. Va. and fifteen grandchildren. Among those attending the services from here were, Mrs. G. E. Childs and daughter, Mrs. J. R. Anderson, the latter of Charleston, Mrs. B. H. Blagg, Mrs. G. C. Hite and daughter, Miss Junia Hite.
