Information: Robert Lee Lucas, 65, of Ripley, formerly of Montcoal, died Jan. 5, 1993, at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after a long illness. He was a U. S. Army veteran, retired from Kaiser Aluminum, a Mason with Ripley Lodge No 16, member of Ripley VFW Post 5501 and a Protestant. Surviving: daughters, Sonseria Starr Taylor of Tallahassee, Fla., Bobbie Joyce Lucas of Davenport, Iowa, Linda M. Vannest, Carla Sue Spillers and Lisa A. Shumaker, all of Ravenswood; son, Tizzie Lee of Ripley; sister, Patsy Jones of South Carolina; brother, Johnnie Bell Cook of Glen Daniel; 14 grandchildren. Service was held Friday at Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville. Burial was in Adkins Cemetery, Naoma. (Bob) Lucas of 236 Second Avenue was the victim in the 5:34 incident which took place at his residence, authorities stated.
