Information: Funeral rites for George Lucas, 62 year old farmer of Advent, who died Sunday afternoon, were held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home with Rev. Meadows officiating.  Burial was in the Hackney Cemetery with the Mays Mortuary in charge.  Mr. Lucas is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maggie Lucas, a daughter, Dolly Lucas, and a son, Chap Lucas.  [Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
