  <p>Information: Mrs. Ruby Ethel Long, 67, of Rt. 2, Ripley, died Friday in Jackson General Hospital following a short illness.  Born 31 Jan. 1905 at Belgrove, she was the daughter of Elijah W. and Mary Florence Wiseman Skeen.  She was married July 22, 1928 to Howard Long, who survives.  She was a member of the Falling Waters Methodist Church.  Surviving:  husband, Howard; brothers, Grover Skeen of Winter Haven, Florida, Estel and Glenver Skeen, both of Ripley, Rudy of Wellsville, Ohio and Carl Skeen of Charleston; sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Morris of Riplay and Mrs. Lena Hutton of Evans.  Services were held Monday in the Casto Funeral Home in Evans.  The Rev. Gerald Sayre officiated.  Burial was in the Aplin Ridge Cemetery near Staats Mills.  (McIntyre)</p>
