Information: Pearl J. Lyttle Long, 88, of Route 1, Ravenswood, died Aug. 7, 1989 at the Jackson General Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Braxton County, a daughter of the late William and Mary Jane Thomas Lyttle. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She is survived by three daughters, Nannie M. Gaynor of Dunbar, Helen Cook of Sumpter, S.C., and Wanda L. Lane of Sherman; two sons, Earl W. Long of Fremont, Ohio, Arthur B. Long, Jr. of Ravenswood; one sister, Nannie Lyttle of Garden Grove, Calif.; one brother, Woodrow Lyttle of Garden Grove, Calif.; 45 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Long in 1989. Services were Thursday at the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood with the Rev. Earl W. Long officiating. Burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery.
