Information: The Rev. Bryan Jennings T. Lockhart, 58, former pastor of the Red Hill EUB Church died yesterday morning in Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Weston. Death was attributed to a heart condition. Born at Sandyville, Jackson County, a son of the late John Wesley and Mary Yates Lockhart, he had been pastor of the Huntington South EUB Church until last December, at which time his illness necessitated a leave of absence. The Rev. Mr. Lockhart had served in the West Virginia EUB Conference for the past 24 years, having been minister to the Morristown EUB circuit, the Alton circuit, Terra Alta and Gassaway circuits and the Junior EUB Church in Randolph County. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ada Showalter Lockhart, Junior; two sons, S-Sgt. Freddie Lockhart, serving with the U.S. Army at Ft. Bragg, N. C., Jennings B. Lockhart, Gassaway; three daughters, Mrs. O. D. Harmon, Clarksburg, Mrs. James D. Curtis, with whom he was residing at the time of death and Mrs. Ronald W. Hill, Landover, Md; two brothers, Noel H. Lockhart, Sandyville, the Rev. Beryl R. Lockhart, Gassaway; three sisters, Mrs. Ray Wright, Mt. Dora, Fla., Mrs. A. L. Morris, Parkersburg, Mrs. Lawson Reed, Hyattsville, Md., and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Junior EUB Church with Dr. T. L. Miles and the Rev. Harry Eckels officiating. Burial will be in charge of the John W. Lohr Funeral Home of Elkins.
