  <p>Information: William Lloyd, son of Henry Lloyd, was born in Jackson county, West Virginia, October 20th, 1842, died at Cottageville, said county, March 28th, 1921, aged 78 years, 5 months and 8 days.  He was united in marriage to Sarah L. Williamson, April 19th, 1866.  To this union two children were born, namely, Lizzie B., wife of W. E. Evans, and William Thornton Lloyd, both of Cottageville.  He leaves surviving him, his widow, two children, fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  The deceased has long been a familiar figure in this community, known as an honest, upright man respected by his neighbors.  He has been failing in health for several years, gradually relaxing his hold on life and on yesterday afternoon the wheels of life could no longer move and the spirit of Uncle Bill returned to the One who gave it.  A devoted companion and loving children and grand-children have been unceasing in their care and attention to the deceased for many months.  A good citizen, an honest man, a devoted husband and loving father has left us.  Peace to his ashes.</p>
