Information: Mrs. Bertha Living was born in Jackson county, W. Va., February 14, 1880, and departed from this life at Akron, Ohio on April 4, 1950 at the age of 70 years, two months and 14 days.  For the past several years she had been a resident of Akron where she and her son, Ray, had purchased a home.  She was united in marriage to Charlie Wilson.  To this union two children were born, Russell and Dallas, both of Akron.  After the death of her husband, she was married to William Baker, who was later deceased, and after some time she was united in marriage to Mr. Living.  To his union the following children were born, George of Angerona, Ray of Akron, and Mrs. Marie Godbey of Akron.  She leaves besides her children, three stepchildren, Leona, Freda and Freddie.  She is also survived by two brothers, Wall Casto and E. D. Casto, both of Angerona; and four sisters, Mrs. Lillie Stover and Mrs. Anna Scarberry of Angerona, Mrs. Lucia Flowers of Columbus, Ohio and Mrs. Verna Casto of Cottageville.  Two brothers preceded her in death.  Mrs. Living was a member of the Christian church. She was a devoted wife and loving mother to all her children and a friend to all in times of need.  She will be sadly missed by her children, brothers, sisters, neighbors and friends both here in Jackson county, and in Akron.  Mrs. Living beonged to that class of persons of whom it can truthfully be said:  ""To live in hearts is not to die; and their works do follow them.""  Funeral service was conducted at the Otterbein E.U.B. church on April 8, at 2 p.m. with Rev. I. J. McCollum officiating.  Interment was made in the church cemetery.   (Daughter of Mason and Emeretta Bennett Casto)  Ada Ruth Sayre.
