Information: LEWIS RITES AT OTTERBEIN - CHARLES C. LEWIS, JR. DIES WEDNESDAY IN CINCINNATI - Funeral services for Charles C. Lewis, Jr., 22 years old, who died Wednesday, March 27, in the Bethseda hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, were held Saturday at the Otterbein church with Rev. R. L. Mahoney officiating. Interment was in the Otterbein cemetery with the Palmer funeral home of Ravenswood in charge. He was born in Cincinnati, January 2, 1918, and departed this life at the age of 22 years, two months, and 25 days. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Lewis and received his education in the schools of Norwood, Ohio and Thelia, California. At the time of his death, he was employed by the Howard Sales Inc. of Norwood, Ohio. He attended the Presbyterian church of that city and was well known and popular in business and social circles. Besides his parents, the deceased is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Donohew of Peoples, Ohio and his fiancee, Miss Elva Mae Bartholomew of Shoronville, Ohio. Pallbearers were Clinton and Gerald Sayre of Ravenswood, Hermon Steyart, Thomas Jones, and Emmett Rader, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pa., and M. L. Jenkins of Norwood, Ohio.
