  <p>Information:       RIPLEY - Robert Carl Lester, 83, of Ripley, passed away Monday, June 25, 2007 at his home.  He was the was the was the only son of the late Harry and Mary Lester.  He graduated from Ripley High School in 1941 and from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy in 1945.  He worked as a pharmacist for Lester Drug Store for 37 years, retiring in 1972.  He was a former member of the board of directors for the Bank of Ripley and past president of the Ripley Rotary Club as well as a member of St. John&#39;s Episcopal Church in Ripley.  Survivors include his wife of 62 years Helen Louise Gatchel Lester and a cousin, John Pease and wife, Vickie of Elizabeth.  Services will be held today, June 28, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Betsy Walker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.  Vail Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.</p>
