  <p>Information:             Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Vail Funeral Home here for Mrs. Carrie McKown Lester, 78 year old widow of the late J. R. Lester, and the burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery.  The Rev. Roy W. Fisher was in charge of the funeral rites.  Mrs. Lester died at a Spencer hospital on Saturday, where she had been a patient only a few days.  She was born at Ripley on April 27, 1871, a daughter of James W. and Margaret Miller McKown.  In Sept. 1897 she married J. R. Lester, a well known druggist in Ripley during his lifetime.  Surviving are on son, Harry R. Lester of Ripley; three brothers, Homer McKown of New Matamoras, Ohio, James D. McKown of Ohio, and Rex McKown of Crow Summitt; two sisters, Mrs. O. P. Oldham of St. Albans and Mrs. Edna Oldham of Ripley, and a grandson, Robert C.
