Information:     C. E. (Bill) Leeson, former lockmaster and mayor of Ravenswood died at Camden-Clark Hospital in Parkersburg Thursday after a long illness.  He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy and his father E. J. Leeson.  Survivors include his mother, Mrs. E. J. Leeson of Ravenswood; a daughter, Juanita Frazier of Columbus, O.; two sons, C. E. (Bill) Leeson, Jr. from Westerville, O., and J. Edward Leeson, Winchester, Tenn.; two brothers, Dr. L. R. Leeson, Parkersburg and Leon Leeson of San Diego, Calif.; and six grandchildren.  Leeson worked for the U.S. Corp of Engineers for 37 years, retiring as lockmaster at Lock 22 in Ravenswood in 1964.  He was elected mayor of Ravenswood for two consecutive terms, 1967 through 1971.  He also served as president of the Mid Ohio Valley Mayors Association.  Leeson was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ravenswood, Ashton Lodge No. 12, and the Nemesis Shrine Temple.  Funeral services will be conducted at the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ronald McCauley officiating.
