  <p>Information: SANDYVILLE - Alberta May Mahan Lawson, 65. of Sandyville, WV, died June 1, 1998.  She was born November 16, 1932 in Jackson County, the daughter of the late Virgil L. and Gladys Balser Mahan.  She was a homemaker and attended Independence United Methodist Church, Sandyville.  Surviving:  daughters, Charlene F. (Bill) Boyd, Sandyville, and Melinda D. (Joseph) House of New Philadelphia, Ohio; sons, Alvin R. (Karen) Lawson of Ravenswood, Edwin L. (Tammy) Lawson of Mineral Wells, and Tim E. Lawson (Trena Winans) of Sandyville; sister, Wanda Jean Sayre of Ravenswood; sister-in-law, Geraldine Young of Ravenswood; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by parents, husband, Richard L. Lawson, and brother, Bernard E. Mahan.  Service will be Thursday, June 4, 1998, 1:00 p.m. Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Revs. Paul Morrison and Tom Deane officiating.  Burial will be in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.  Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 1998 at the funeral home.</p>
