  <p>Information: Paul Lanyi, Sr., 74, of Ravenswood, died Sept. 29, 1995 at Jackson General Hospital.  He was born in Ohio, a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Anna Magyar Lanyi.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre.  He formerly resided in Whitesville, where he was employed by Glogora Coal Company for 18 years.  He retired from Kaiser Aluminum with 25 years of service as an electrician.   He was an avid bowler with the Seniors and the Wednesday and Friday leagues at Ren Dor Lanes, Parkersburg.  He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, having served as an elder and choir member.  Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Yvonne Florentz Lanyi and two sons, Paul Lanyi, Jr. of San Francisco and Steve Lanyi of Concord CA.  He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.  The body was donated to the Human Gift Registry at West Virginia University in Morgantown.  No services were held.  Memorials preferred to the First United Presbyterian Church, Ravenswood.</p>
