  <p>Information: Funeral services for Preston Lanham, 75 years old, who died Monday at his home in Cottageville, were held at 2 o&#39;clock Tuesday afternoon at the Given Baptist Church with Rev. A. Filbert in charge.  Burial was in the Given Cemetery with the Mays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. (5 Jan 1940)         Preston Lanham was born Nov 9, 1865 at Given, departed this life Jan 1, 1940, aged 75 years, one month and 22 days.  He was united in marriage to Sarah E. Bennett on March 5, 1890.  She preceded him in death 23 years ago.  He leaves 6 step-children and a host of cousins and friends to mourn his passing.
