Information: Mollie Griffith Lanham was born July 11, 1862, and departed from this life April 22, 1934; age 71 years, 9 months and 11 days.  She was united in marriage with Benjamin C. Lanham March 1, 1882.  To this union were born four children as follows:  Mrs. Mae Wolfe of Glenville, W. Va.; Noble C. Lanham, who preceded her in death in 1918, Mrs. Bessie Garrett of Kentuck, W. Va., and Mrs. Beulah Skeen of Fairmont, W. Va. Besides her children there lives to mourn their loss the following brothers and sisters:  Mrs. Maggie McGinn of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. J. H. Garrett of Dunbar, Mrs. Ida Winter of Akron, Ohio, J. T. Griffith of Kenna, O. E. Griffith of Ambridge, Pa., W. E. and D. A. Griffith, both of Charleston; also five grandchildren.  Her husband preceded her in death twenty-four years ago. At the early age of sixteen years she gave her heart to God and joined the M. E. Church of which she was an active and faithful member until her death. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Wesley Garrison officiating.  Joe Vail of Ripley undertaker in charge.
