Information: Lora Marie Lanham, 83, of Ripley, died Wednesday, March 2, 1988, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, following a short illness. She was born Feb. 12, 1905, in Gay, a daughter of the late Walter and Minnie Westfall Tolley. She was a housewife and member of the Siniaville United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, Robert R. Rhodes of Statts Mill, William E. Rhodes of Melbourne, Fla., and Carl C. Lanham, Jr. of Houston, Texas; daughter, Sharon L. Turley of Brynmawr, Pa.; brothers, Russell Tolley of Melbourne, Fla., and Charles C. Tolley of Inverness, Fla.; sisters, Gertrude Litton of Inverness, Fla., Mabel Walker of Ripley, and Vesta McCrady of Parkersburg; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lanham and a daughter, Kathleen Beymer. Service was Saturday at the Siniaville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Rhodes, the Rev. Jeffrey Allen Rhodes and the Rev. Wayne Hinzman officiating. Burial was in Fairplain Cemetery. Parsons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
