Information: ROMANCE - Howard B. Lanham, 71, of Romance, died May 4, 1996, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a long illness. He was retired from RPS and worked for the A & I Supply and Baldwin Supply. He was retired from the Teamsters and was a member of Ripley Masonic Lodge No. 16, Kanawha Odd Fellows No. 25 and Fisher Chapel United Methodist Church, Romance. Surviving: wife, Elsie E.; daughter, Connie Sue Monk of Bluefield; sons, Roger Lee of Salt Lake City, Gary Dale of Charleston; sisters, Opal Siders of Romance, Sybil Simmons of Kenna; brothers, Henry and Bill, both of Romance, Roy of Cicerone Route, Denver of Myrtle Beach, S. C.; seven grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. today at Fisher Chapel United Methodist Church, Romance, with the Rev. Billy Lanham officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Sissonville. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the church. Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Pocatalico, is in charge of arrangements.
