  <p>Information: Emit Lanham, 77, of Ravenswood, died April 3 at Jackson General Hospital after an extended illness.  He was born Jan. 11, 1908, in Jackson County, the son of the late Albert Perry and Rosa Thomas Lanham.  He was a farmer.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Georgie Lanham of Ravenswood; two sons, Lewis Lanham of Williamstown, Bernard Smith of Gay; five daughters, Mrs. Thelma Kidd of Ripley, Mrs. Barbara Wilson of Gay, Mrs. Hazel Litton and Mrs. Deloris Wolfe, both of Ravenswood, and Mrs. Lola Abbott of Sandyville; one sister, Lura Stewart of Florida; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.  Services were Saturday, April 6, at Parsons Funeral Home Chapel, Ripley, with the Rev. Charles Cavender officiating.  Burial was in Goff Cemetery, Jackson County.</p>
