  <p>Information: ROMANCE - Belva Lanham, 82, of Romance, Jackson County, died Dec. 15, 1996, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after a long illness.  She was a retired postmaster with the Romance Post Office with 35 years&#39; service and a lifelong resident of Jackson County.  She attended Goff Church, Middle Fork Road, Romance.  Surviving:  son, Ronald of Romance; sister, Letha Ashby of Kenna; grandson, Walter Lanham of Advent; granddaughter, Judy Falin of Beckley.  Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Long & Fisher Funeral Home Chapel, Pocatalico, with the Rev. Ted McKeon officiating.  Burial will be in Goff-Burdette Cemetery, Middle Fork Road, Romance.  Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.</p>
