Information: Rush P. Lane, retired railway clerk and veteran of the Spanish-American War, died Friday at his home at Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at the age of 69.  Mr. Lane was born at Racine, Ohio, and spent his early life at Wilding, Jackson county, W. Va.  He resided in Wood county for thirty-five years prior to going to Florida.  Surviving are his wife, Cora; one brother, Jonah Lane, of Wilding; a half-brother, H. L. Custer, of Marietta, Ohio, and three sisters, Mrs. Emma Duffey of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Lydia Jeffers of Salem, Ohio, and Mrs. Belle Cheuvront, of Cleveland, Ohio.  [Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
