  <p>Information: Mrs. Virginia E. Landis, 70 of Ripley died Tuesday at her home following a long illness.  She was born in Jackson County, daughter of the late Joseph Andrew and Diana Flowers Miller.  She attended the Prayer and Faith Tabernacle in Ripley.  She is survived by one son, Arnold D. Landis of Ashtabula, Ohio, five daughters, Mrs. Violet Anthony, Mrs. Betty Rhodes and Mrs. Virginia Kay all of Ripley, Mrs. Merrill Williams of Murraysville and Mrs. Velma Nuzum of Ravenswood; one brother, Wallace A. Miller of Verden, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hicks of Ravenswood, Mrs. Mae Hivaley of Ripley, Mrs. Pearl Naylar of Sandyville and Mrs. Addie Merrill of Lisbon, Ohio.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley.  Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Jackson County.  The Rev. Tommy Young and the Rev. Willard Carney will officiate.</p>
