Information: Rites for Ola O. Landis, 70 of Kentuck, Jackson County who died Sunday in Jackson General Hospital after a long illness, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Goshen Baptist Church at Kentuck.  The Rev. Herman Gandee will officiate with burial to be in the church cemetery.  Born in Jackson County, he was a son of the late Jesse and Malinda Jane Gandee Landis.  A life-long resident of Jackson County, he was a former employee of the Libby Owens plant at Kanawha City and was a rural mail carrier and farmer.  He was a member of the Jackson County Sportsmen's Assoc., and had attended the Goshen Baptist Church.  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lessie Walker Landis; three sons, Kemp Landis of Kenna, Ralph of Charleston and Richard of Ripley; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Skeen of Columbus, O., Mrs. Wanda Gambill of Pataskala, O., and Mrs. Wilda Scarbrough of West Richfield, O.; two brothers, Robert and Herbert Landis, both of Charleston.  Parsons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
