  <p>Information: Charles Landis, 88, of Kenna, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Jackson General Hospital.  He was born October 20, 1923, a son of the late Sam Landis and the late Susy Fields Landis.  He was an Army veteran and a self-employed timber man.  He is survived by two sons, Delmis Gene Landis and his wife April of Kenna WV and Sammy D. Landis and his wife Patty of Kenna WV; brother, Frank Landis of Ona WV; four grandsons, Ricky Landis, Chuck Landis, Jason Landis, and Eddie Eskew; three granddaughters, Misty Smith, Shana Holderby, Chrystal Patterson; 23 great-grandchildren.  Funeral ceremony will be 1 pm Thursday, July 19, 2012, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Billy Casto officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Kenna.  Friends may call 11 am-1 pm Thursday at Waybright Funeral Home.</p>
