  <p>Information: RIPLEY - Albert Clay Landis, 73, of Ripley, departed this life September 17, 2008, at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley.  He was born March 24, 1935, a son of the late Edward and Dollie (Hughes) Landis.  He was a Protestant and retired from Hoosier Construction.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia Landis; brothers, Victor L. Landis and Jacob L. Landis; and sisters, Edith A. Rhodes and Bonnie D. Rhodes.  Service was held Friday, September 19, 2008, at 2 pm at Casto Funeral Home in Evans WV with the Rev. Benjamin Riggleman officiating.  Burial followed in the Longview Church Cemetery in Evans.  Visitation was held from 1 pm until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to:  castofuneralhome@citynet.net.</p>
