  <p>Information: George M. ""Bus"" Landfried, 79, of Ripley, died Tuesday, July 4, 1989, at CAMC General Division, Charleston.  He was born Oct 7, 1909 in Jackson County, a son of the late George and Anna Parsons Landfried.  He was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church.  He was retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways and was a former Ripley City Councilman.         He is surived by his wife, Garnet Landfried; two sons, Dick Landfried of Lewisburg and George P. Landfried of Woodbridge, VA; one brother, Guy Landfied of Kenna; one sister, Tess Knotts, Ripley; four grndchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Sevices were Friday at the Vail Funeral Home. Burial was in Jackson Memory Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Epworth Methodist Church.</p>
