  <p>Information: Alma E. Lacy, 87, of Cottageville WV, passed away peacefully April 18, 2013, in Hubbard Hospice House West, South Charleston.  She was born July 6, 1925 in Glen Daniel WV, a daughter of the late Clyde and Hettie Cortney (Grimmett) Shorter.  Her husband, Richard Earl Lacy; son, Richard MacArthur Lacy; daughter, Barbara Jones;  sister, Ruby Shorter Tolliver; and a brother, Carl Shorter, also preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Cottageville United Methodist Church.        Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David Earl and Gloria Lacy of Cottageville; daughter and her husband, Peggy and Ray Sias of Winfield; sister, Mary Utt of Cleveland OH; brother, Carlos (Eleanor) Shorter of Alliance OH; grandchildren, Cindy Sias (Bruce) Barnes of Institute, Stephanie Lacy (Justin) Thaxton of Alum Creek, Brian Lacy of Cottageville, and David Jones of Forest City NC; great-grandchildren, Eric, Sydney and Suzanne Jones, and Kennedy and Lily Thaxton.  Services were held Monday, April 22, 2013, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans WV.  Pastor Tom Osgood and the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiated.  Burial followed at Jackson County Memory Gardens in Cottageville WV.  Visitation was Sunday, April 21, at the funeral home.  Email condolences may be sent to castofh@gmail.com.</p>
