  <p>Information: KENNA - William D. ""Buddy"" Koontz, 65, of Fishers Ridge Road, Kenna, Jackson County, died May 1 1992, at home after a long illness.  He was born October 26, 1926, a son of the Freda Mae Dorsey Koontz and the late Ezra Oshel Koontz.  He attended Pleasant View United Methodist Church, where he was choir director, and attended Fisher Memorial Church.  He sang and played the guitar for several gospel groups in Kanawha and Putnam counties.  He was a retired Kanawha County school bus driver.  Surviving:  wife, Arbutus Anderson Koontz; mother, Freda Koontz Elkins of Kenna; sisters, Edith Crank of Cross Lanes, Lillian McCormick of Liberty, Frances Harrison of North Carolina; brothers, John T. of Kenna, Oshel J. of Arizona.  Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Long-Fisher Funeral Home, Pocatalico, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre and the Rev. Carl Chambers officiating.  Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery, Kenna.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m today at the funeral home.</p>
