  <p>Information: Luther V. ""Nick"" Koontz, 82, of 717 Glen Ridge Road, Charleston, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 1991, in Heartland of Charleston after a long illness.  He was born at Kenna, Jackson County.  He was a professor and an administrator at Morris Harvey College and the University of Charleston until his retirement.  He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Christ Church United Methodist.  Surviving:  wife, Jearl Stump Koontz; daughter, Mrs. Barbara Ann Baker of Fayetteville; son, Jon Luther Koontz of Pittsburgh, Pa.; sister, Mrs. Golda Fisher of Orlando, Fla.; brothers, Hermis D. of Charleston, Coy A. of Orlando, Bill of Phoeniz, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home, Charleston.  Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, is in charge of arrangements.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Jackson and Dr. James Rowley officiating.</p>
