  <p>Information: KENNA - Denver Jewell Koontz, 69, of Kenna, Jackson County, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, at home after a short illness. He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Holland and Nancy Koontz.  He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from Columbia Gas.  He was a member of Plainview Church. Surviving:  wife, Audrey Koontz; daughters, Gail Pursley and Cindy Kerns of Kenna; on son, Randy Casto of Cottageville; sisters, Margaret Teel of Charleston, Mary Jordan of Bridgeport; brother, Arnold Burton Koontz of Charleston; three grandchildren. He was preceded in deth by one brother, Rex Koontz.  Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with Evangelist Johnny Price officiating.  Burial will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.</p>
