  <p>Information: Roland G. Koon, 60, of Charleston, died May 6, 1997, at home after a long illness.  He was retired from Welding, Inc., Charleston, and was a longtime resident of Charleston.  Surviving:  wife, Violet Withrow Koon; daughter, Sharon Titcher of Greensboro, N. C.; son, Guy P. Koon of Charleston; sisters, Sibyle Casto of North Homestead, N. C., Wanda Raines of Kentuck, Macel Counts of Jackson County; brothers, Robert G. of Parma, Ohio, Clarence Koon of Kentuck; four grandchildren.  Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home, Charleston.  Burial will be in Koon Cemetery, Kentuck.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.</p>
