  <p>Information: Ovie Lee Knopp, 88, of Millwood WV, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 16, 2012, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston WV.  He was born September 26, 1923, in Gay WV, a son of he late George Washington and Nora Elizabeth (Rhodes) Knopp.  His wife, Dorothy Lee (Morgan) Knopp and brothers, Orville, Owens, Otis, Okey, and Otho, and a sister, Opal Pinkerton, also preceded him in death.  He was a lifelong farmer, and was retired from Foote Mineral.  He enjoyed hunting and gardening, listening to gospel music, and discussing politics.  Following his retirement, he enjoyed socializing and playing board games with friends and family.           Survivors include his sons, Danny Lee Knopp, and Randall Lynn Knopp (Shirley), all of Gay; daughters, Debbie (Corby) Stalnaker of Ripley, Brenda Knopp of Millwood, Susie (Tom) Johnson of South Charleston, and Cherie (Walt) Chaney of Crozet, VA; brother, Otmer Knopp of Cottageville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  A service to honor the life of Ovie Knopp was held on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 6 p.m. at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans WV, with the Rev. Jim Corbitt and the Rev. Benjamin Riggleman officiating.  Visitation was from 4 p.m. until time of service on Thursday.  Graveside service was 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2012, at the Parsons Cemetery, Gay.  Email condolences may be sent to: castofh@gmail.com.</p>
