Information: Naomi Marie Knopp, 78, of Leroy WV, passed away peacefully October 9, 2014, at her home, while surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. She was born November 19, 1935 in Pomeroy OH, a daughter of the late Emory Eugene and Addie Belle (Westfall) Litton. Her husband of 54 years, Otho Wesley Knopp, brothers, Albert Litton, Delbert Litton, Robert Litton, and Donald Litton, a sister, Mabel Branham, and an infant sister, also preceded her in death. A lifelong homemaker whose life revolved around her family, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a Christian who loved the Lord, gospel music and attending church. She was also a Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Yankees fan. Survivors include her sons, Wesley Knopp (Debby) of Gay, Larry Knopp (Becky) of Murraysville, Rick Knopp (fiancee Susan Foster), Jack Knopp (Selma), John Knopp (Paula), and Tony Knopp (Janet), all of Leroy, and Greg Knopp (Karen) of Clay; daughter, Tammy Lewis (Jeff) of Fairplain; grandchildren, Matthew Knopp, Susan Helmick, Jason Knopp, Gena Nesselroad, Jackie Atkinson, Justin Knopp, Nathan Knopp, Rae Knopp, Derek Knopp, Logan Knopp, Aden, Knopp, Ana Knopp, Brandon Lewis, Rachel Lewis, Lexie Knopp and Levi Knopp; and great-grandchildren, McKenzi Nesselroad, Isiah Nesselroad, and Hunter Knopp; and her loving cat, Whiskers. The family would life to express their sincere appreciation to the wonderful caregivers, and Hospice staff for their compassionate care during our mother's extended illness. Service was 2 p. m. Sunday, October 12, 2014, at the Mill Creek Baptist Church, Leroy, with Pastor Robert Keen and the Rev. Herman Robinson officiating. Burial followed in the Baptist Grove Cemetery, Leroy. Visitation was from 5 p.m. untile 8 p.m. Saturday, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans WV. Email condolences may be sent to castofh@gmail.com.
