Information: Mrs. George Knightstep, died January 27, 1921 at the age of 73 years, 3 months, and 11 days, having been born August 15, 1848.  At an early age she became a Christian and united with the M. E. Church of which she was a member over fifty years.  She was a kind, devoted and loyal wife; a Christian mother; a good neighbor and a highly respected and admired citizen.  In 1869 she was united in marriage to George Knightstep.  To this union were born thirteen children, of whom nine survive her.  She was preceded to the better land about four years ago by her husband.  Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church with Rev. Rymer officiating and the remains were laid to rest in the old cemetery at this place.
