  <p>Information: Larry Stephen Knight, 68, of Given WV, died Sunday, May 13, 2012, at his home after a courageous battle with lung cancer.  He was born August 5, 1943 in Spencer WV to the late Sherman and Martha (Runnion) Knight. Larry graduated from St. Albans High School in 1961 and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.  He worked for the Dow Chemical Company for 36 years and had many cherished friends from his years there.  Survivors include his stepdaughters, Alicia Cole (Jewett) Tucker of Fraziers Bottom WV, Christi (Vicente) Cruz of Scott Depot WV; brothers, Danny (Frances) Knight of Milton WV, Michael (Carolyn) Knight of Given WV; grandchildren, Kya, Kami and Cristian Cruz; nephew, Scott Knight; and nieces, Terri (Knight) Lewis and Michelle (Knight) Messina.  Larry enjoyed traveling, hunting and NASCAR, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren. Larry donated his body to the West Virginia University Human Gift Registry for science and medical research.  A special thanks to Frances Knight for the loving care she provided Larry during the last few months of his illness.  There are no services planned at this time.  Charitable donations may be made in his name to a cause that was very close to his heart, St. Jude Children&#39;s Research Hospital.</p>
