Information: Funeral services for Mrs. Laura C. Kiser, 65, of Charleston, formerly of Kenna, will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel.  Mrs. Kiser died Monday at the Charleston General Hospital following a short illness.  She had suffered a stroke at the home of her brother, Arles Halley with whom she made her home.  She was born April 10, 1906 to Albert Halley and Okey Bowens Halley.  She attended Legg Memorial Church.  Her husband, Jim Kiser died in 1969.  Survivors include two brothers, Arles Halley of Charleston and Adam Halley of Beckley; two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Harper of Sissonville and Mrs. Helen Smith of Cleveland.  Rev. George McKinney will officiate at the services and burial will be in the Hamon and Skeen Cemetery at Kentuck.
