Information: Lt. Col. James S. Beauseau, 75, of Ravenswood, well-known businessman and World War II veteran, died Thursday in Camden-Clark Hospital after an extended illness. He was Chairman of the Board of First Federal Savings and Loan Association in Ravenswood and past president of the association where he has been employed for the past 40 years. He was also a past officer of the West Virginia Savings League and former owner of Boso Insurance Agency. He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the US Army and he served during World War II and was a member of the US Army Reserves Officers Association. He served as past commanding officer of the 267 Reserve and was a member of the 572 Army Armored Division. He was also a member of the American Legion of Foreign Wars and served the City of Ravenswood as city council recorder for 14 years. He was a past president of the Ravenswood Lions Club and a past president of the Ravenswood Centennial Committee. He was born in Wood county, a son of the late Clyde and Jacqueline Ferrell Boso. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ann Beauseau and one stepdaughter, Jaynice Moore of Ravenswood. A full military service will be held at the West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Straight-Tucker Funeral Home in Ravenswood is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Ravenswood Library.
