  <p>Information: Phyllis Jean Carter Kirk, 55, of 703 Crooks Ave., Ravenswood, died Monday evening in St. Joseph&#39;s Hospital, Parkersburg, after a heart attack brought on after being informed of the death of her brother, James Richard Carter of Chesapeake, earlier that day.  She was born in Kanawha County, a daughter of the late Howard J. and Minerva Irene Scott Carter.  She attended the Second Baptist Church in Ravenswood.  She is survived by her husband, Gene, sons, Gary Gene and John Steven Kirk, both of Ravenswood; a daughter, Carolyn Ann Ealy of Ravenswood; sisters, Doris Juanita Kirk of Ashford, and Wanda Faye Layne and Betty Jo Rider both of Chesapeake and three grandchildren.  A service was to be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Straight-Tucker Funeral Home Chapel in Ravenswood with the Rev. Fred Lowry officiating.  Burial was to follow in the Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
