Information: Robert Glen King, son of Mr. Martin and Mrs. Jane King, was born May 15th, 1885 in Mason county, W. Va.  He was united in marriage to Iva Pearl Hunt in 1908 and to this union one son was born, Harold Henry.  His wife having departed this life, he later united in marriage to Leota Coast, June 28th, 1913 and to this union 11 children were born, two having died in infancy and 10 survive him namely; Harold Henry, Margaret, Clifford, Hattie, Iva, Helen, Lucy, Bessie, Robert and Rosalee.  Glen was an honest, industrious, hard working man and held in high esteem by all who knew him.  He had built up a fine home and possessed a large farm.  He was converted at Rockcastle in March 1926 under the service of Rev. William Combs and lived a consistent Christian life until God called him to his reward.  As life was receding and the shadows of death was gathering over him he still continued to rejoice in a Savior's love.  While his good wife has lost a devoted husband, his children a kind and loving father, his brothers a faithful and true brother, his friends and neighbors a friend indeed  and a friend in need.  He has left the assurance that he has gone to that eternal city where there is no sickness, no sorrow, and death can never, never come.  He departed this life, January 16th, 1939, aged 53 years, 8 months and 1 day.  He leaves to mourn their loss, his wife, 10 children, 3 grandchildren, four brothers, John of Evans, W. L. of Ohio county, W. Va., S. G. of Evans, and D. L. of Evans; his mother and sisters preceded him in death.
