Information: REYNOLDSBURG, OH - Ocie King, 95, of Reynoldsburg, OH, where she had resided with her daughter for the past seven years, died September 26, 2000. She was honorary member of Ripley Woman's Club, active for 62 years, where she served as president and held other offices. She was a life member of the Jackson County Historical Society, a member of Epworth United Methodist Church since 1935, she was president of the Parkersburg District United Methodist Women, in which she held many offices. She was the first camp secretary at Jacksons Mill, was the first home demonstration agent in Jackson County and she was a 4-H All-Star since 1923. She also attended and graduated from WVU. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Moore, of Reynoldsburg, OH, six grandchildren, Beth King Ventocillia of Panama, Paul King of Madison WI, Sarai and Ben King of Boston and Amy Thompson of Las Vegas and Matthew Moore of Silverdale, WA. Services will be held at the Epworth United Methodist Church at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2000. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
