R. King, of near Cottageville, well known in Ripley, died Sunday evening in his eighty-fourth year.  The funeral took place Tuesday afernoon  at the home, D. C. Davis officiating.  He was buried at the Carter graveyard.  One brother, ""Uncle"" Frank King; Susan A. King, at home, and C. T. King, of Winamac, Indiana, children, survive him.
