  <p>Information: Mrs. Gertrude M. King, 79, of Spencer, died Saturday in Roane General Hospital.  The widow of Scott Montgomery, she formerly owned and operated the Modern Beauty Shop in Ripley for many years.  She was a member of the Spencer Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Surviving:  husband, McKinley; daughters, Mrs. Madge Bennett of Vienna and Mrs. Mazie Smith of Belpre, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Opal Metz of Akron, Ohio and Mrs. Corda Miller of Ravenswood; brothers, Ben Reynolds of Wooster, Ohio, Rev. Orland Reynolds of Decatur, Ga., Kenneth, Ernie and Emmett, all of Ripley and Denver Reynolds of Melbourne, Fla.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.  Service was held Monday in Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Herbert Ingersoll officiating.  Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.</p>
