Carroll was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Eunice King of Cottageville.  Survivors include daughter Julia, sons Robert and Donald of California, sisters Clara Virginia KIng and Louise Murray (husband Haydon) of Cottageville, brothers Wayman King (wife Ellen) of Falling Waters, and Edwin King of Los Angeles, California.
