  <p>Information: Alva Mae Kidder, 87, of Ravenswood, passed away November 21, 2014, at her home.  She was born November 29, 1926, the daughter of C. J. Hughes and Virgie Moore Hughes.  She was self-employed/Merle Norman Cosmetics.  She was a member of North United Methodist Church in Ravenswood, where she was a youth director and Sunday School teacher for many years.  She worked at Almeda&#39;s Clothing Store, where she performed many duties.  She owned and operated Merle Norman Cosmetics and Gift Shop in Ravenswood for many years.  She loved her family.         Survivors:  husband of 69 years, Alvie Kidder, of the home; children, Keith and his wife Marianna, Larry and his wife, Phyllis, Mark and his wife, Sharee; grandchildren, Ryan Kidder, Lance Kidder, Mindy Kinduell, Chris Westfall, Brandie Smith, and Brandy Anderson; great grandchildren, Dustin, Alyssa, Bailee, Wyatt, Kaitlin, Vivienne, Beckett, and Quinn; brother, Steve Hughes.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond and Lusion Hughes; and sisters, Jackie Laughlin and Sherry Lynn.  Services will be Sunday, November 23, 2014, 3:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood WV, with Pastor Chris Skeens officiating, with Don Smith giving Eulogy.  Friends may visit the family at the funeral home (today) Saturday, November 22, 1014 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, and one hour prior to service on Sunday.  Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W., Charleston WV 25312-2536.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at roush94@yahoo.com., or on www.facebook.com/roushfuneralhome.</p>
