Information: Kay Eads Kessell, 83, of Ripley, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1989, at the home of a sister after a short illness.  He was an Army veteran of World War II and a Protestant.  Surviving:  wife, Goldie Smith Kessell of Ripley; brother, Orville G. of Newport, Ky.; sisters, Juanita Garber, Paulita Wilkinson and Grace Kay Hanning, all of Ripley, Gladys E. Kessell of Dunbar.  Funeral services will be held at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, Thursday at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.
