Information: Herbert L. Kessell, 84, of Cedar Ridge Nursing Home, Pocatalico, formerly of Charleston, died March 26, 1988, after a long illness.  He was a retired carpenter and painter.  Surviving:  sister, Mrs. Verde Harrison of Kenna; half sisters, Mabel Olain and Hazel Holder, both of South Charleston; half brother, Carl Kessell of Pocatalico; one grandson.  Service was Tuesday at Long-Fisher Funeral Home, Charleston.  Burial was in Rock Spring Cemetery, Kenna.
