Information: DEATH CLAIMS WILMER BAYER - Wilmer Bayer, 53-year old native of Ripley, died at a Parkersburg hospital on Monday following a ........months illness.  His condition had been serious and death had been expected.  He was born in Ripley, Sept. 12, 1903, a son of Mrs. Ida May Ludwig Bayer of Parkersburg and the late Charles F. Bayer. He was an employee of the Parkersburg Sentinel Company as a night watchman and had previously worked for the Parkersburg Iron and Steel Co.  Mr. Bayer had served as superintendent of Sunday school at the Gospel Mission church prior to his illness.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Dunaway Bayer; three children, Mrs. Evelyn Weaver, Akron, O., Mrs..............land Falls, N. Y., and Charles R. Bayer of Parkersburg; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Spence, East Liverpool and Mrs. Anna McDonald, East Liverpool and Mrs. Mabel Harmon, Ripley, W. Va.; four brothers, Clifford, Parkersburg, Phillip, Ripley, Robert, East Liverpool, and Clyde of Clayton, Okla.  Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Vaughan Funeral Home with the Rev. J. H. Life officiating.  Burial will be in the Arlington Memorial Gardens.
