  <p>Information: KESSEL FUNERAL HELD WEDNESDAY - ILLNESS IS FATAL TO HOUSTON KESSEL ON MONDAY - Funeral services for Houston Edward Kessel, 81, will be held this (Wednesday) afternoon at the Vaughn Funeral Home in Parkersburg and the body will then be brought to Cottageville where an additional service will be held at two-thirty o&#39;clock and burial will be in the cemetery there.  Mr. Kessel died about seven-forty Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Bernhardt in Parkersburg.  He had been ill only a short time before his death.  He was a member of the South Methodist Church.  He came to this city from Jackson county about 10 years ago, having retired from the profession of school teacher.  His wife preceded him in death eight years ago.  Mr. Kessel is survived by five daughters and three sons:  Mrs Ethel Kern and Mrs. Lenora Anderson of Cincinnati, Ohio, R. L. Kessel of Cleveland, Ohio, O. B. Kessel of Wellsville, Ohio, Mrs. Louise Bernhardt, Mrs. Dora Samuels, Mrs. Gladys Taylor and Herman W. Kessel, all of Parkersburg; nine grandchildren, five of whom are serving in the armed forces, and one great-grandchild.</p>
