  <p>Information: Albert Maywood Kessel, son of the late William A. and Ruth Parsons Kessel, passed away at his home in Austin Texas a few days ago.  He was born November 5, 1866, on Parchment in the Pleasant Hill community.  He was one of the leading school teachers of the county in his early manhood.  He went to Texas in 1899 where he has lived ever since, visiting scenes of his childhood only twice since that time. He is survived by his wife; a son, William; a daughter, Ruth; and the following brothers and sisters, Austin A. Kessel, Parkersburg; J. Walter Kessel of Ripley; Kenna K. Kessel of Charleston, Mrs. Verna Davis of Charleston; and Mrs. Rosa Board of Ripley.  The funeral and burial were in Austin, Texas.</p>
